Gunners look to make up for slow start

Arsenal may have made a slow start to the Premier League season, but Arsene Wenger's men are clearly looking to pick up the pace.

The Gunners have earned just four points from their first three games, losing to West Ham and being held to a goalless draw by Liverpool in their two home fixtures.

But they look desperate to get into their stride quickly as they head to St James' Park to take on Newcastle on Saturday lunch-time.

Alexis Sanchez led Arsenal's team of speedsters in a sprint training session, with Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also showing their pace.

Wenger's side is packed full of sprinters, with lightning pace all across the front line, something they will be looking to utilise against Newcastle.

And despite admitting that his side are not yet in peak physical condition, the Arsenal boss is confident that his side can still mount a title challenge.
